About the Firm
For over ten years, I have zealously defended the rights of clients in Arkansas. I believe a lawyer's education does not end when he or she graduates from law school and passes the bar. An effective attorney keeps up with each new law and court decision in order to give more accurate legal advice and obtain better results with fewer surprises. I've learned from my experience that hard work truly leads to smart work.
My firm handles a range of matters in Northwest Arkansas and around the state, including criminal defense, appeals, post-conviction relief, civil litigation, and administrative law. The firm is small by design and only takes on a limited number of clients in order to make sure each case gets the attention it needs for the best possible outcome. I work closely with a network of other lawyers. If I am unable to take on the representation in your case, I will refer you to another trusted attorney or firm.
I also offer a variety of trial consulting services for other attorneys. More information can be found in the link below.
The fee for representation depends on the type, complexity, and location of each case or dispute. Some matters require a flat fee while others call for a retainer and hourly billing.
I offer free consultations for criminal, post-conviction, uncontested divorces, name changes, agreed custody modifications, adoptions, personal injury, landlord/tenant, and most civil matters. For contested divorces, the fee is $80 for an initial strategy session. This one hour session can be done in person or via video chat and includes an in-depth review of the legal issues in your case and possible options to fit your goals and your budget.
If you decide to hire my firm, this fee is credited back to you toward the cost of representation. If you decide not to hire my firm, you still leave with a full assessment of your case and a possible plan of action. In certain, limited situations, I may provide a free initial thirty minute strategy session.

Location & Contact Info
My office is located in the Historic Hathcock Building at the corner of Dickson Street and Block Avenue in Downtown Fayetteville. Parking is available in the lot on the east side of the building on Dickson Street. Metered parking is also available on Block Street near the building's main entrance.
The Hathcock Building is a true Fayetteville treasure. Built by Dr. P.L. Hathcock in 1949, it is home to attorneys, non-profits, and other businesses. My office is located on the second level up from the street. If you enter the building through the main entrance on Block Avenue, go up the flight of stairs and down the long hallway. If you enter through the back entrance under the maroon awning facing East Street, follow the turns in the stairs to the top. My office is directly at the end of the short hallway.
Like many historic properties, the Hathcock Building has its quirks, interesting nooks and crannies, and lots of character. However, due to the building's age and layout, it does not have an elevator. I am happy to schedule our appointment at another location if accessibility is an issue.
Office hours are by appointment.
